More and more divers use mixes for their dives, this can be Nitroc or Trimix and a qualified person is mandatory to prepare these mixes. This training enable participants to become qualified mixing technicians, they are able to prepare any kind of mix used in recreational or technical diving.
Prerequisites:
- To be at least 18 years old
- Having the Nitrox diver (enriched air) or an equivalent certificate
The course covers:
- Physical properties of the different gases used in diving and the risks associates.
- Handling and Cleaning conditions to make and maintain equipment compatible with oxygen (OxyClean)
- Methods used to prepare gas mixes
The course comprises:
- 1 theoretical course
- 1-2 tank filling courses
